++ Surin Town, or Amphoe Muang ++


Phrasart Muang Tee: Located in Wat Muang Tee, Tambol Muang Tee, this temples is similar to Phrasart Si Koraphum. There were five stupas on the same base, however, there were only hree left nowadays. When compared to other Khmer temples, phrasart Muang Tee consists of comparatively smaller stupas. Yet they were all restored in late Ayudthaya period and are in a good condition.


++ Amphoe Ban Phrasart ++


Phrasart Ban Phrasart: Phrasart Ban Phrasart is located in Tambol Plai, around 5 kilometers away from town. Although this temple is quite old and only laterite walls and ponds are left, it is strill archeologically significant.


Phrasart Ban Plai: Phrasart Ban Plai located in Tambol Chea Pleung, around 10 kilometers away from the town. Established since the 11th Century, the three stupas made of brick are located on the same base and surrounded by a ditch.


Phrasart Hin Ban Pluang: Located at the kilometers market 32, on Surin-Phrasart-Khab Cheung Road, this small temple is interesting because of its exquisite decorations.


++ Amphoe Khab Cheung ++


Phrasart Ta Muan Toad: Located next to Thailand-Cambodia border, Phrasart Ta Muan Toad consists of square stupas and base made from sandstone.
Phrasart Ta Muan Thom: Located along the river, around 200 meters from phrasart Ta Muan Toad, Phrasart Ta Muan Thom consists of three stupas and two laterite Vihara (or sacred halls), and a pond.
